Love

Valentine’s day is most commonly associated with romance. When we think of February 14th we automatically think of an exchange of candy, flowers, and/or gifts amongst lovers.  Even though, the holiday is rooted in romance, I’d like to believe that Valentine’s day is a celebration of all types of love.

This year I wanted to style something that wasn’t your typical, pink and red heart day setup. I decided to focus on a soft pink and metallic silver color story instead. I wanted this design to be an inspiration not only for Valentine’s Day but for all types of celebration of love as well. So I strayed from phrases like “be mine” and focused on the most powerful word there is…LOVE!

To create the  backdrop I used a piece of 4×4 sanded plywood and painted it a pale pink after it dried I cut out the word “Love” using my cricut explore machine onto silver adhesive vinyl.

I LOVE these milk jars! How adorable are they? And so freaking easy to make as well. Simply, measure the lace around the jar and cut to size. Spray the lace with a clear spray adhesive and wrap your bottle as desired. Once dry tie a thinner ribbon on top of the lace and trim the edges.
